National Technical Systems
MIL-STD-464 sets out minimal acceptable standards for the electromagnetic compatibility of ordnance and related equipment used in airborne, sea, space and ground-defense systems. Firing circuits contained within these devices is inherently susceptible to electromagnetic environments. Testing is critical for managing the risks associated with exposure to normally occurring EMR.

Extech Instruments Corporation
Allows you to measure electromagnetic field radiation levels from fans, electrical appliances, wiring, and power lines.
-
E-Labs, Inc.
This type of testing is required for devices, systems, and applications within the military and aerospace industries. Weapons, aircraft, ground and support equipment, electrical, and electronic systems must meet the established requirements.During electromagnetic interference the component's electrical circuit is affected due to either electromagnetic conduction or electromagnetic radiation from an external source.
-
WiNRADiO Communications
Try our low-cost RF sniffers for fast and easy troubleshooting of unwanted interference caused by electromagnetic radiation sources in your local environment.
-
STMicroelectronics
An electromagnetic interference (EMI) filter is used in electronic circuits to improve system immunity against unwanted external electromagnetic signals from neighboring circuits and to avoid emitting radiation (“noise”) that may disturb the same nearby circuits by canceling unwanted frequencies.

B&K Precision Corporation
RF is short for radio frequency. RF is any frequency within the electromagnetic spectrum associated with radio wave propagation. When an RF current is supplied to an antenna, an electromagnetic field is created that then is able to propagate through space. Many wireless technologies are based on RF field propagation. These frequencies make up part of the electromagnetic radiation spectrum.

EMC Technologies Pty Ltd
It is widely accepted that exposure of the human body to high levels of Electromagnetic Radiation (EMR), Electromagnetic Energy (EME) or Electromagnetic Fields (EMF) may lead to adverse health effects. To ensure the protection of personnel in the workplace and to protect members of the general public, it is essential that the EMR levels comply with relevant exposure limits set by regulators in each country.

PCE Instruments
A radiation detector is a device for measuring nuclear, electromagnetic or light radiation. A nuclear radiation detector identifies nuclear radiation by measuring the emission of ionizing radiation of alpha particles, beta particles and gamma rays. Also referred to as a geiger counter, a nuclear radiation detector consists of two main elements: the processing electronics and the geiger tube. The geiger tube is filled with low-pressure inert gas like helium, argon or neon. If radioactive radiation occurs, the inert gas is ionized. An anode within the geiger tube registers the quantity of ionized particles numerically correlating with the strength of the radioactive radiation. The radioactivity measurement is then displayed on the LCD screen of the geiger counter or nuclear radiation detector.
