Direct-Reading Dosimeters
The Direct-Reading Dosimeters are rugged, precision instruments. They are designed to measure and directly read, at any time accumulated dose of gamma and x-ray radiation exposure. The Direct-Reading Dosimeter is designed to satisfy military specifications for the IM-Series RADIAC METER and ANSI N13.5 and N322 requirements. The sturdy metal clip attaches the dosimeter to a pocket or any object to monitor total radiation exposure. They are hermetically-sealed and immersion proof.

Area Monitors
Provides real-time remote radiological monitoring. Local readout of hand-held meter allows for use as a portable survey instrument. More importantly, since the probe’s sensitive electronics are located far from the high field (25 to 350 feet away), they are not subject to destructive gamma exposure. The probe head may be placed directly into a filter compartment or against a resin tank or waste liner.

Probes, Cables & Detectors
Probe has a mica window that has a thickness of 1.8 to 2.0 mg/cm2. This allows detection of alpha radiation as low as 3.0 MeV when in close proximity to the window. Beta radiation in excess of 35 keV and X-ray or gamma radiation greater than 6 keV can also be deteched. The detector is provided with a BNC connector. It can be used with most count rate and survey meters which accept Geiger Mueller (GM) detectors operating at 900V DC.

Electronic Dosimeters & Readers
Readers operate using software packages installed on computer (PC) and communicate with DMC 3000 dosimeter and DMC 2000 and SOR families in hands-free data exchange mode. the LDM 320 reader is used as an interface to activate a dosimeter (to switch into counting mode) or to deactivate it (to switch into pause mode). When used with the included* DMCUser software, it functions as an interface to read and write the internal data of the DMC 3000, SOR and DMC 2000 dosimeters.
