The long term recording of humidity and temperature conditions is very important in the pharmaceutical industry, production processes, storage, test facilities and many other areas. Once logged, the temperature and humidity data can be evaluated statistically. This provides valuable information on conditions that can have an influence on people and product quality. ROTRONIC data loggers fulfill the FDA requirements of 21 CFR Part 11 and GAMP 5. They are extremely accurate and easy to use. The data can be accessed wirelessly, via a network, or directly with the HW4 software. The data can be saved in tamper-proof LOG mode or in Excel files. For added security, the measured data from the data logger is monitored and stored redundantly online on a server or PC.

The Clean Room Panel, which is fitted with a diaphragm sensor for differential-pressure measurement, is a top-quality device. Validated according to GMP directives, and with its well thought-out design, the CRP5 is optimized for applications in laboratories and clean rooms. Optical buttons, and the magnet-mounted, removable HC2-CRP humidity and temperature probe permit efficient and effective cleaning. Up to 6 measurement values and messages can be displayed via its graphical color display. The colors of the display can be adjusted individually. Alarms, such as faults, exceeded limit values, or warnings are highlighted on the CRP5 display, and can also be forwarded digitally via MODBUS, Ethernet, or relays. Thanks to its analog and digital communication capabilities, the CRP5 is very easy to integrate in any monitoring system. Its comprehensive functional capabilities allow the CRP5 to be configured perfectly for each application. The CRP5 is distinctive in the marketplace through its tough glass front plate and a removable humidity sensor.

A temperature transmitter is an electrical instrument that interfaces a temperature sensor (e.g. thermocouple, RTD, or thermistor) to a measurement or control device (e.g. PLC, DCS, PC, loop controller, data logger, display, recorder, etc.). Typically, temperature transmitters isolate, amplify, filter noise, linearize, and convert the input signal from the sensor then send (transmit) a standardized output signal to the control device. Common electrical output signals used in manufacturing plants are 4-20mA or 0-10V DC ranges. For example, 4mA could represent 0°C and 20mA means 100°C.
