Balanced and UFL Calibration Kit

The Balanced Calibration Kit is an interface kit for UFL and balanced VNA measurements. It contains SMA-UFL adapters and several adapters from SMA and UFL to balanced pinheaders. The UFL connector was introduced by Hirose as the U.FL connector and became very popular for connecting RF signals in consumer electronics. There are several varieties from other manufacturors and are also known as UMC or UMCC connectors.

Balanced Measurements
The unbalanced interface of a VNA is not very well suited for measuring balanced circuits like antennas, transmission lines or chip impedances. In fact it is nearly impossible to get a decent calibration on a balanced 2-port measurement using coax cables.

Measuring Management
Our test equipment is more than a test-set with a screen. Our application software provides an integrated tool to easily store the measurements at different stages and create a log of what we have done. Each measurement stores all data and settings, including display, markers and calibration.
