Altitude Chambers
ESPEC can provide custom-built chambers for simultaneous testing of temperature and low-pressure altitude conditions. Two common applications are: Testing of avionics or other aerospace equipment to simulate actual conditions it might experience. Simulation of high-altitude conditions like might be found in mountainous regions.

Environmental Stress Screening
ESS
Environmental stress screening (ESS) is also known as Burn-in, AST (Accelerated Stress Testing), HALT (Highly Accelerated Stress Test), or HASS (Highly Accelerated Stress Screening). Whatever the name, the idea is the same: create a test program that allows you to eliminate the infant mortality of your product.

Highly Accelerated Stress Test Chambers
HAST
Our HAST systems have a modern design that's easier to use: Automatic humidity filling; Automatic door lock; A more square workspace; allowing more product to be loaded;Convenient, hermetic power-pin system for bias testing. We are now able to offer a hermetic port system to allow special signal lines like coax or fiberoptics to be run into the chamber.

Industrial-quality chambers for combination testing with vibration systems
AGREE Series
For years AGREE chambers have been the workhorses of the environmental test chamber industry. Originally created to meet military test standards, their flexible design has made them suitable for a wide variety of applications. Fast temperature changes of 5 to 25°C/m. are possible, even with significant loads. The chambers have a removable floor, allowing integration with vibration test systems.

Lab-Type Environmental Stress Screening Chambers
ESS5/11 SERIES
The ESS5/11 Series provides the unique capability of stress screening products in a small, lab-type chamber. Pre-qualification for ESS, troubleshooting, and small scale ESS programs would all benefit from high air flow, high change rate testing in this compact design. This series can accommodate up to six product drawers from our standard ESS systems. Other features include non-CFC/HCFC design, and wide variety of control systems, refrigeration system sizes, and product fixturing options.

Liquid-To-Liquid Thermal Shock Chambers
TSB Series
Purchasing a liquid thermal shock chamber needs close consideration of the long term operating costs. The specialized liquids used can easily evaporate, causing the loss of thousands of dollars of fluid per year, if not properly contained. ESPEC has led the industry in developing a sophisticated test chamber with multiple mechanisms to significantly reduce fluid usage. The new TSB-51 loses just 1.4 grams per test cycle, or less than a liter per 1,000 cycle test.

Medium Thermal Shock Chambers
TSD-100
The TSD-100 has our popular touch-screen controller, but with a new feature called Specimen Temperature Trigger (STT). This STT function actively monitors the temperature of the product and only advances the program to the next step once the product has reached the desired temperature. The STT dynamically reduces the overall testing time by adjusting the soak period according to how much product is being tested.

Rain & Spray Test Chambers
ESPEC makes rain and spray testing easier by offering a standard chamber capable of published and OEM proprietary test methods. The standardized design can be configured for the rain/spray tests you need, eliminating the guesswork in buying a chamber. The system is based on the JIS/SAE specification requirements, and can also accomplish individual automaker's tests, as well as electrical-enclosure tests.

Rapid-Rate Cycling Chambers
TCC
Through simulation of wind volume and wind speed, TCC-150 can minimize specimen temperature variations, enabling more accurate quick temperature change testing. For specimen temperature, the ramp rate is 15°C/min. For air temperature, the ramp rate is 23°C /min (temperature heat-up average).

Settling Dust Chambers
EDC
The ESPEC EDC dust chambers provide a ready-made solution to common dust test standards for automotive and electronic-cabinet requirements. Often specified for use with "Arizona fine dust", these units can also be used with talcum or concrete powder. The chamber has a "clamshell" type door/lid for easy front-loading, compared with top-loading chambers. Optional reach-in glove ports allow rotating the test sample without opening the door.
